MHG Systems, a Bioenergy focused ERP software provider form Mikkeli Finland, has introduced a feature to the popular MHG Bioenergy ERP service, which will estimate the moisture content of biomass storages. The estimate is based on an algorithm which is built in the system. With the new feature it is possible to monitor very accurately the moisture content and value of the feedstock.

MHG ERP Platform kick-off for Chinese bioenergy operators

This agreement regards the development of business cooperation that concerns consultant services for the MHG Bioenergy ERP and FSO bioenergy supply chains and for the Energy-NET's CCHP（combined cooling，heat and power）technology.

Tekes, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, launched the Green ICT competition in October 2010. Case Study Rebuplic of Ghana, was selected (together with the ideas from Mitron Oy and Academica/Helsingin Energia) as the best solution from the 31 solutions submitted to the corporate competition. In addition to Tekes, the jury consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Motiva Oy, Finnish Federation for Communications and Teleinformatics (FiCom) and Tietoviikko.
